Leading Specialists

JEL Renewables is a trusted solar energy provider based in Southport, offering high-quality solar panel installations and battery storage solutions. We help homeowners and businesses across the UK make the switch to renewable energy, cutting electricity bills and reducing carbon footprints.

The Journey Behind JEL

JEL began over 30 years ago with the founding of JEL Electrical by Colin Jervis, a family-run business specialising in commercial projects. Our early successes saw us working with notable clients like Makro, Bookers, DHL, and the NHS  partnerships that continue to this day. Over the years, we’ve built a reputation for delivering reliable, large-scale electrical and renewable installations for warehouses, retail units, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites across the UK. Colin’s passion for renewable energy led him to explore solar projects, which resulted in the creation of JEL Renewables. Partnering with Ewen Maclean, now our Operations Director, we expanded our focus to specialise in solar and renewable energy solutions. Alongside our commercial work, we also have a dedicated premier residential sector that specialises in domestic solar installations across the North
West. As trusted renewable energy specialists, we design, supply, and install high-performance solar panel systems, battery storage, and EV charging solutions tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking to lower your energy bills, become
more energy independent, or do your part for the planet – we’re here to make it happen. Today, JEL continues to undertake numerous commercial and residential projects, combining our rich history with a forward-thinking approach to deliver excellence in every endeavour.
